Dear Mills Families,
The Mills team (all staff) is on campus and in full preparation mode this week to welcome Mountain Lions back for the 2023-2024 school year on Monday, August 14! We can't wait to see your smiling and excited faces... beginning Friday, August 11 at Meet the Teacher! Don't forget to bring your child's school supplies. A Popsicles with Mountain Lions gathering will be held after Meet the Teacher from 11:15am-11:45am on the Mills playground. The admin team, counselors, and front office staff are ready to mix and mingle with you!
As a reminder, you will be dropping off your child(ren) at designated drop off zones on the first day of school. We will have staff stationed throughout these zones to assist your child with arriving to class. Doors open at 7:30am. The goal is to have all students in classrooms as quickly (and safely) as possible to get teaching and learning started! Pre-K and Kindergarten families are invited to a Tears and Cheers event hosted by the Mills PTA, beginning at 7:45am in the library.
Please review the PTA Safety Flyer attached below. Arrival and dismissal on campus are very busy times at Mills. Be proactive and take time to be mindful of others, exercise patience, and follow all safety laws and protocols.
