Thank you to our deacons for preparing and serving our Silent Lord’s Supper last night. It was a meaningful time of worship for me and my family - I hope it was for you as well. In the new year, we will start a new sermon series through the book of 2 Corinthians. For the first time, we will have Scripture Notebooks available for purchase. There are a few benefits to using a Scripture Notebook as we walk through this New Testament Letter together. First, some people are hesitant to write in or mark-up their Bibles. A Scripture Notebook frees you to highlight, underline, or circle the text without marking in your Bible. Second, it has a place for you to write notes, add cross references, add definitions, add background information right there alongside the verses we study each week. Third, for those who don’t have a CSB, it allows you to use the same translation as us without needing to purchase a whole Bible. Finally, I will show you week by week how to turn your Scripture Notebook into a long-term resource for your theological library. These Scripture Notebooks will be available starting this Sunday for $5 each. If you need to buy more than one for your family, each additional notebook can be purchased for $3. Put your money in an envelope or use the EBC App.
