What's Happening ?? !!

Dear Hawley Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to December! We chose this to be Kindness Month with a plethora of fun and meaningful activities focusing on giving. It is a very busy time.

Here's What's Happening at Hawley.......

The Monster Mash was a tremendous success. Not only was it a terrific, fun family event, but it raised over $10,000 for the PTA. Thank you for your support.

I will continue to share pictures of students participating in their teacher donated Auction Activities. Here are students calling the buses at dismissal, leading Mindfulness Monday, and being Principal of the Day!

• Student Progress Reports will be available Wednesday, 12/5 via the ParentPortal in PowerSchool.

• Our lost and found is overflowing with nice clothing. Please check to see if your child is missing coats, sweaters, jackets, sweatshirts and hats. Send them to get them this week or feel free to come in after school to take a peek. We need to clean house ;0)

• It causes panic and extra work when parents want to chaperone a field trip that is tomorrow and have not yet filled out a Volunteer Waiver with background check. It makes sense to have one on file in the event you ever have the opportunity to participate in an activity. This does need to be done yearly. Click Here for the form.

• Thank you very much for all the non-perishable food items that were donated. Your generosity was greatly appreciated.

Please join us Thursday night (12/6) for the Grade 4 Chorus Concert. Student drop off at 6:30 pm in the Library with the show starting at 7:00 pm in the Hawley gym.

I had to replace some white lights. Simple, right- I bought white lights. I was completely UNAWARE there are white, soft white, day white, cool white, LED white, yellow white, soft yellow white, soft day white, off white, day soft white, cool day white........Really??? My OCD is in overdrive!!!!
