School Meal Payment Guide
Low balance and negative balance notifications are being sent out daily via e-mail. You can always send cash and check to school--please make sure to send it in an envelope with your child's full name and classroom written on the envelope. Credit card is accepted through My School Bucks--more information on My School Bucks is included in this newsletter.
We encourage you to reach out with any questions that you may have.
This year, for the convenience of our families, we added the application to your Parent Portal. If you need assistance logging into your Parent Portal, please call the JFK Office at 605-362-2784.
Please see the graphic below for step-by-step instructions on accessing the Meal Benefits application through your Parent Portal. It is recommended you gather any household income information needed and review your household members in the Household Information section of the Portal for accuracy prior to starting the online application.
An electronic signature PIN is required to submit your online Meal Benefits Application. If you do not have an electronic signature PIN created you will be prompted to do so prior to starting your online Meal Benefits Application.
My School Bucks does incur a small processing fee per transaction. You can set up an account for free and get instant access to your child's lunch balance information as well as see their cafeteria charge history. You can also set up low balance notifications through the app.
In order to set up your account, you will need a valid e-mail address and your child's student ID, which can be found through your Parent Portal, or by contacting the JFK Office. My School Bucks also has a variety of how-to videos to assist you with adding students, updating payment methods, and setting up low-balance notifications. Those videos can be accessed via the links below.
