International Festival
Saturday | September 23 | 12pm to 4pm.
International Festival takes place on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
At International Festival, we get to put into practice our developing awareness and appreciation of world cultures. The festival includes food (two food trucks), performances, cultural education, and games. There is something for everyone! We also have great POTLUCK selections, where attendees to the festival volunteer to bring (nut free) dishes to share from around the globe.
The performances not only reflect varied world cultures, but also include GLOBE students past and present. You don't want to miss the interactive entertainers nor the fun games and activities. Wear your ethnic or national dress for the parade, bring blankets and chairs and join in the festivities.
All this specialness will be happening outside at the park at Lower Campus, on Saturday, September 23, from 12pm to 4pm. Please do not forget to be a good neighbor when parking for this event. Do not block driveways or mailboxes. We do have permission to park at Echo Ridge Recreation Club during this event.
Important: Parking at International Festival
We have permission to park at Echo Ridge Recreation Club during the event, however, they do have limited spaces. We have also been informed of some tree maintenance work that is due to take place on Saturday morning on Heritage Drive (to the right of LC's main entrance), therefore, please use Briarwillow Drive to access the park area, be considerate to our neighbors when parking and avoid blocking driveways or mailboxes.
We look forward to seeing you on September 23!
