American Education Week is Coming Up!
As you may know, American Education Week is approaching next week. To celebrate this occasion, Estelline will be hosting two contests for the Redhawks! In the first contest, students are asked to design a flag that represents the school best. The most creative and well-made flag will win! For the second contest, students will be tasked to write an essay with the theme "If I Were the Principal for the Day". The prize for both contests will be a gift certificate for the C-Store!
The Humanity Launch Visits Estelline
This Wednesday, the Humanity Launch Project returned to Estelline. They worked with the students and teachers to "put the human back in humanity". The goal of the Humanity Launch Project is "to take students and staff on a journey to discover a dynamic culture that fosters excellence in their environment and the development of a better world." Veterans Day Program
On Thursday, November 11, Estelline held a program to celebrate Veterans Day. The program kicked off with the Pledge of Allegiance led by senior Alexis Vomacka. Senior Kate Wegner read the poem "The Noble and the Brave: A Veteran's Day Tribute". The high school choir performed "My America", and the high school band performed "Armed Forces Medley".
