Dear Mill Valley Families,

Today was the last day of Forward testing for our 3rd and 4th graders (tomorrow will be make-up testing). We could not be more proud of them for staying focused and doing their best! Thank you parents for your support as well. We will resume the normal specials and lunch schedule on Monday.

Next week, 4th graders will kick off our Mill Valley 5-Mile Crew! During their lunch recess, students can walk or run laps to work towards completing 5 miles or more in a week. Each week, a different grade level will have the opportunity to participate in this activity. Class competitions will take place during the week with the top class earning a class trophy.

The Muskego Lions Club will be at Mill Valley conducting vision screening for all kindergarten, 1st and 3rd grade students on Thursday, April 27th. If you do not want your student to participate, please contact the health room at 262-971-1830 X8223.

The parents of any student that does not pass this screening will be notified.

The school supply store will remain open through July 10th.

The Mill Valley Student Council has decided to give back to the community and will be collecting donations for HAWS animal shelter. We will be collecting items off the wish list (attached HERE) May 1- May 24th. In addition, you may also purchase from HAWS Amazon Wish List and have it shipped directly to HAWS. Please consider donating to support animals that need our help.

Thank you to all families who registered their children for Summer Learning Academy. At this time, the Infinite Campus registration is closed, with the exceptions of All-Sport Academy and Muskego Power (2:00-3:00 session). Parents can still register for All-Sport Academy and Muskego Power through the Infinite Campus Portal.

Staff Appreciation Week will be starting May 1st and the celebration is going to be out of this world!

We could use your help with set up and decorating on Sunday, April 30th from 1-4 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up HERE.

We also could use your help on Wednesday, May 3rd between 10:45am and 1:15pm. We would like to give our support staff a break by covering their lunch and recess duties. Click HERE to sign up for a time slot.

Our first art class with Mrs. Owens was a success. Thank you to everyone that participated in the art class. We raised close to $400 that will go towards the Music & Art playground project. We hope to have another art class next year!
