Part 1: Use the Portal to log in to Holt

  1. Students and teachers can go to the My.gccisd.net
  2. Enter your computer credentials. (Students username: Student ID, password: mmddyyyy (birthdate))
  3. Click on Applications
  4. Click on HMH (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt)
  5. Once in HMH, you will see an intro screen to "The Activate Product Tools"
  6. Read carefully and click Close.

Part 2: After teachers log in they must assign the book to each course

1. Find One or More Avaiable Products:


  • Check a Subject area OR Type in the Product Name, i.e Biology
  • Click Search

2. Available Products

Click the check box beside the book you want to push out to your sections.

3. Optionally Choose your Classes

Click the checkbox for each section to push out the selected book.

4. Click Activate
