For Spring 2020 Field Experience
Phase 1 Teacher Candidates are REQUIRED to Attend Field Placement Orientation
Plan on attending this orientation, delivered by OPFE Director, Tracey Kramer, and Assistant Director, Amy Elston, to learn more about your field placement requirements, course expectations, and assignment due dates. The overall focus is how to be successful in this important part of your program. Please bring a device such as a laptop, smart phone, or tablet so you are able to take part in the interactive elements of the presentation.

Phase 1 Orientation Time and Location- OPTION 1
CHECK IN WILL BEGIN AT 10:00am. Orientation will be held in the Student Success Center, room 009.

When do you find out your placement details?
If you want to ensure you know as early as possible where you will be going next semester, then please ensure you do steps 1-3.
1. You must have valid and current background checks sent to OPFE.
2. You must be registered for the right field course and section.
3. You must attend orientation.
4. Your placement must be confirmed with the school.
