January 2021
Happy New Year!!!
I hope that you had a relaxing and restful holiday. Students return to school on Monday (January 4th). Our wildcat staff is excited to see all of their smiling faces!!!
I am hopeful for Covid reductions as vaccines continue to be administered. Again, I will stress that our students and staff have done an outstanding job distancing, wearing masks and sanitizing. I want to continue to thank all of you for taking the necessary precautions and keeping your children home if they are not feeling well or someone else in the house hold is ill. Please stay in close contact with any family and friends you may have seen over winter break to assure you stay vigilant of any possible illness concerns.
Please contact me or Nurse Whitney Aumsbaugh with any questions at (260) 347-1354 or at sleasure@eastnoble.net and waumsbaugh@eastnoble.net. We are here to assist!

FROM THE OFFICE OF MR. PERLICH, DEAN OF STUDENTS
Attendance:
Please continue to communicate with the office staff and teachers while students are out on quarantine or ill. Remember that students do receive their school work through Seesaw or Canvas (5th only) when they are out for illness and quarantine. This work is expected to be completed at 50% or more by the next school day in order to be counted present. The only exception to this is if the child is called into school ill and is too sick to complete the work that day, then they will receive two more days to complete the work for that day. Again, it is IMPORTANT to communicate with the classroom teacher!
Please take advantage of the free school breakfast. Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. If your child is a car rider or walker, please get them to school as close to 7:30 as possible so they have plenty of time to eat and can make it to class on time. On Mondays, breakfast starts at 8:15 a.m. All car riders MUST be dropped off at Door 3, please do not drop them off at Door 1 due to safety concerns. Just a reminder - lunch is also free for all students as well!
You may report absences at any hour through our voice message system, call (260) 347-1354. We ask that you try to schedule appointments and vacations outside of school days and hours if possible.
Safety:
Safety drills will continue the second half of the school year as they are important to your child's safety here at school!
If you have any questions about fire drills, tornado drills, lock downs or anything pertaining to safety, please contact the school and ask to speak with Mr. Perlich.
This year, the school building is locked. Please remember to call the school before coming to the building. We can come outside to pick something up or bring something to you if you schedule it with us. Thank you for understanding and continuing to work with us!
