Welcoming All - Rev. Mary Gear
Last Sunday, I spoke about the hard times we’ve been through and the grief I feel from all that we have lost. You may feel that, too. Grief, overwhelm, anger, so many feelings. And I spoke about the need to keep our hearts open as we stay connected. You can watch that service here.
Collective grief needs collecting healing, and we do that together.
During our water communion service on September 10, I asked you to share what helps you keep your heart open. So many of you shared beautiful things like connecting to loved ones, time in nature, and moving your body in dance, walking, and swimming.
Your sharing is posted in The OUUC Commons. And I made a recording of all of them. Check it out—your sharing is beautiful.
We know how to care for ourselves and for each other. We can do this hard thing—together.
Blessings on your week,
Rev. Mary
