Primary Bears,

Our Lost and Found will be located outside this evening. Please check it today or tomorrow for any lost jackets/sweaters. We will donate the items over break that are left.

Tomorrow we will have our Christmas parties. You will sign your child out in the classroom after the party. If your child will be a car rider tomorrow afternoon, keep in mind we won't have a car line and dismissal is at 3:40. Please arrive at 3:40 because most students go home early so there isn't a car line. We hope you and your families have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Students return January 3, 2024. We are hosting a school-wide popsicle party on January 3! Happy New Year to our Primary Bears!

The Christmas edition of the La Vernia News will publish on Thursday, December 21st. If you have a 2nd grader, you will want to get one! They are available at HEB and various stores around town. In the newspaper, letters to Santa from every 2nd grader will be published. You don't want to miss it!

A few highlights:

-A student cannot miss more than 15 days a school year (excused or unexcused).

-You must send a note within 3 days of absence.

Schlitterbahn Waves of Pages:

Kindergarten - Second Grade Students are invited to participate in Schlitterbahn Water Park in New Braunfels Waves of Pages Reading Incentive Program.

Bright blue notes were sent home in student folders with details. Forms are due back to the Library by January 18th. Parents must total minutes read and sign the forms in order for Schlitterbahn to consider entries for a FREE TICKET to the water park. EXCITING! Classes with the most student participation will win a great prize from the Library and teachers with 8 or more students participating will be awarded a free ticket too! So FUN! Thanks for helping us celebrate reading!

Each day a class doesn't have a student tardy, the class will get to add a sticker to its 100s chart. Remember our tardy bell is 7:25 am. Help your child arrive to school on time!

Our meal payments platform, Titan Family Portal, has been upgraded to LINQ Connect. Be
sure to download the new LINQ Connect App in the Google Play or Apple Store available now and
visit LINQConnect.com if you use a browser. No need to change your username or password. All your information will be transferred to the new site for your convenience.

Also, be sure your little bear has an extra set of clothes in their back pack to change in the event of an accident/spill.

• Seating is outside only, so keep an eye on weather
• You may eat only with your child, not other children
• Do not take video or photographs of other children
• Students may not take leftover drinks and food down the halls to the classrooms.
• You must sign in and out at the front office
