The Knife Angel is the National Symbol Against Violence and Aggression. The statue is made of over 100,000 knives collected at knife amnesties. It was made at British Ironwork Centre by artist Alfie Bradley.
The statue will be on display in Corby from May 14th to May 30th and an Art competition has been launched for young people in advance of the Knife Angel’s arrival in the town. KS3 and KS4 students who attend out Art club have created a submission for the competition. Both are three dimensional and will be displayed in school for all our staff and students to see.
