Minatare Public Schools is participating in the Community Eligibility meal program from USDA for the current school year 2023-2024. By participating in this special program Minatare Public Schools will be able to serve breakfast and lunch meals to all enrolled students at no charge to them.
Studies have shown that children who are not hungry do better in school. By providing breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge, we are hoping to create a better learning environment for our students. The School Meals that we serve follow U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines for healthy school meals. This Community Eligibility meal program cannot succeed without your support and assistance.
Free and Reduced Price Income Eligibility Applications will not be distributed this year.
Sincerely,
Diana Closson
Administrative Assistant/Technology Director/Food Service Coordinator

Pat Horner Retirement
Join Minatare Public Schools in honoring, thanking, and celebrating the Retirement of Pat Horner. There will be a retirement reception at the Minatare Elementary Gym on Saturday, October 14th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
His last day working at Minatare Public Schools was September 30th. Pat has been a dedicated employee of the school district for over 18 years. He is gifted with a keen knowledge, tremendous experience, and a knack for "figuring" things out. Pat has spent countless minutes, hours, days, and years working and volunteering his time--not only for Minatare Public Schools, but also in the area communities. Pat's retirement is a loss to the Minatare Public Schools family, but is also a well-deserved vacation for him. We wish Pat the very best!
