Artist's Statement
People used to think that when a photographer took someones picture it stole a part of their soul. I think that when a photographer takes a picture it exposes a part of the subjects soul. Photography is a way to look deep into what you are photographing. It brings to light the harsh truths and joyous simplicity of life. There is magic in everyday and in every where we look. I hope that in some small way, my photography, helps the viewer to see that magic is not just all around them, but within them too.
