This newsletter will be for both next week and the following week since we only have two days of school next week. There will be no school on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for Thanksgiving break.
The Character Trait of the Month for December is compassion. We will be showing compassion for others less fortunate than ourselves by collecting items for our food drive from now until November 30th. The classroom that collects the most items will get a PIZZA PARTY! Thank you in advance for your generous donations. We have a strong community in Bunker Hill that is always willing to help support each other. Just one of the many reasons I am proud to be a part of it.

Junior High Assembly (6th-8th) COLOR WARS
We will have a special pep assembly for junior high students in 6th-8th grade on Monday morning, November 21st. Students in 8th grade will be bussed over to Wolf Ridge from BHHS. We encourage students to get decked out in as much of your class color as possible to win the COLOR WARS! Students will be recognized for honor roll and current athletics taking place. We will also have some fun competitions between the grade levels. SHOW YOUR PATRIOT PRIDE!

You can still register the day of the event just before the race. Registration will cost $20 and you will not be provided a shirt.
Students in grades 6-8 can sign up for volleyball tryouts by clicking on the button below. Tryouts will be held on Monday, December 5th and Tuesday, December 6th from 3:30-5:00 at Wolf Ridge. Athletes must have a current physical on file to tryout.

8th grade students will be bussed to Wolf Ridge this morning for a COLOR WARS pep assembly
- November 23-25 = No School
Fall Break for Thanksgiving
- November 27th = PFK Rudolph Run at 3
We can't wait for this fun event hosted by PFK. This will take place just before the tree lighting.
Even if you did not pre-register, you can register on the day of the race just before for $20. While you will get to race and have fun with us, you will not receive a shirt.
December 2nd = Early Dismissal at 12:30
Students will be dismissed early on this day. All BHCUSD8 staff will be participating in safety drills and crisis retraining. Safety is our top priority!
There will be no PreK on this day due to screenings taking place.
- December 9th = Friday Night Lights
This event will be hosted by PFK for 3rd-5th graders at Wolf Ridge.
- December 16th = Jr. High Winter Dance
More information will come soon!
- December 21st = Early Dismissal at 2
Students will be dismissed at 2:00PM on this day. This day marks the end to the 2nd quarter. This will also be the day of our class parties and K-2 Winter Music Concert so SAVE THE DATE. We will send home more information soon.
- Dec. 22-Jan.4 = No School-Winter Break
This will be our winter break. Teachers will return on January 4th. Students will return on January 5th.
