Greetings Parkway Families,
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Can you believe we are wrapping up the first nine weeks of school this week? You should be very proud of your kiddos - they are doing a fantastic job each day and showing tremendous academic growth!
I want thank everyone for coming out to Newk's last week to support our PTO! We had a wonderful turnout and the management of Newk's was very complimentary of our school. Proceeds from the event will support our PTO as they continue to provide so many wonderful experiences for our students.
We have a busy couple of weeks ahead. Here's a glance at what we have coming up:
- October 11 - 22: PES Virtual Book Fair. Shop online at: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/parkwayelementaryschool24. Our school benefits from every sale. Last year, we bought books for classroom incentives and stocked our school's makerspace station with supplies. Thank you for supporting literacy and our school's library program!
- October 11 - 16: Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week Activities (See flyer below for details)
- October 21: Early dismissal & Parent/Teacher Conferences (Your child's teacher will be sending more information home about scheduling)
- October 22: School Closed for Students
- October 29: PES Trunk or Treat Family Night 6 pm - 8 pm (See flyer below for more information)
