Dear Hill-Roberts Families,

Kindergarten came, saw, and conquered the first week of school! We finally feel complete. All classrooms continue to work on building communities, practicing routines, and developing stamina. I'm not sure about the students, but I've been sleeping well!

Today, we had our first fire drill of the year. All students and staff exited the building safely. Mrs. Skeffington made an announcement to praise how everyone showed CREST (Care, Respect, Excellence, Safety, and Trust) during the drill.

Thank you so much to everyone who is patiently waiting for the active drop-off to complete before backing out of spaces in the Roy Ave. lot to the side of the building! It creates such a safer environment for our students and other families!

Miss Andrade has been getting creative while the gymnasium floor is completed. Students have been starting in the auditorium and then using the playground to go over expected behaviors during recess. It takes a village!
