Principal Post
It’s hard to believe the year is coming to a close on Friday. It has been a pleasure to serve the students, staff, and families of Little Elm High School. I see so many positive, motivated, and talented students walking our halls each day, and it gives me incredible hope for our future.
In this last newsletter of the year, we’ve compiled some important information for those of you who will be returning in the fall. I also encourage you to follow our social media accounts to stay in the loop about important dates and activities. In the meantime, my wish for you is a safe summer break.
Go, Lobos!

Please see the LEHS calendar for a full list of events and important dates.
Summer School
1. For students who did not pass one or more STAAR/EOC exams, summer tutoring will be from June 2-June26 from 8am-12:30 pm Monday-Thursday at the LEISD administration building. There is no charge for this support.
2. For students who did not pass a class, we are offering a credit recovery opportunity. This session lasts from June 2-July 17 (or earlier, if the student finishes before the 17th). Credit recovery students will come to the LEISD administration building on June 2 to receive their logins and be enrolled in the appropriate course(s), but they may work on the courses from home after that. Students will need to take their final exams in person. Cost for credit recovery is $50 per course. Please note, this opportunity is for students who received a failing grade for a class, not for students who failed due to attendance.
Since we still have a few days left of school and haven’t yet received STAAR scores from the spring administration, we can’t determine until the end of the week who will be eligible for summer school. When we do have final grades and EOC scores, we will send a registration link to eligible students. Please be on the lookout for that link anytime from May 23-27. Registration will end on June 3. If we still have room for credit recovery students at that time, we will allow students with absence failures to register for credit recovery at a cost of $100 per course.
