We hope that all of you had a wonderful Spring Break! The weather finally feels like spring is here for good. Spring is also a reminder that the end of the school year is quickly approaching.
When our students return from on April 11, they have only six short weeks left in the 2022-2023 school year. Many of our students are very busy with school, extra-curicular activities, and jobs. It is important that they stay focused on finishing the school year on a strong note.
Many of our seniors are anxiously awaiting the end of the high school career and many of them may have mixed feelings about what lies ahead. Some students have a clear idea and path of what their future holds. We are cooperating with several area schools and area businesses to provide an opportunity for our seniors to explore their options after graduation. The Workforce Investment Solutions, Decatur Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Economic Developmkent Coporation of Decatur - Macon County, are making "Hire Day" possible for area seniors on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. We encourage all of our seniors to attend this even and will provide transportation to those students who need it.
Please be sure to monitor student progress on TeacherEase throughout the semester. Working together we can support all of our Bombers and provide them the opportunity to learn new skills and build upon the skills they currently possess.
