Please be reminded that Danville CSD has Parent-Teacher Conferences this week. We will have early dismissals on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week for conferences. Conferences will run from 3:00 - 8:00 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This year, we are offering both virtual and in-person conferences to parents. We hope you will choose the option that works best for your family.

If you have not yet scheduled a conference with your child's teacher, please feel free to email the teacher to set up a conference time.

We look forward to meeting with you to discuss how we can work together to help your child be successful.

Please also remember, due to conferences, we will not have school on Friday, October 29th.

Great news! We will be holding IN-PERSON Holiday concerts this year! There will be more details in the coming weeks, but for now mark your calendar for Sunday, December 12th. We are excited for the return of our Holiday concerts!

*Don't forget the Danville CSD School Board Elections are coming soon! Check out the Danville Facebook page to hear from the candidates.

*Danville Elementary will be making some changes to our spelling instruction at all grade levels. Look for a letter from your child's teacher during PT Conferences.

*We are in that strange time of year when students need coats in the morning and short sleeves in the afternoon. Please send a sweatshirt or coat with your child each day.

*We will be sharing a video on Thursday for our annual Halloween parade. Watch the Danville School Facebook page for the video link.

*Please be reminded, Halloween costumes should be school appropriate, with no real or pretend weapons or face paint. Thank you!

*Don't miss the Scholastic Book Fair this week in the 21st Century Room. It is open during all Parent Teacher Conferences.
