Antonio, is a Spanish young man. He studied at Salamanca University, where he met a lot of British students. He makes different trips to England to visit relatives and school friends. They take him to see interesting places in their area. His anecdotes deal with historical facts and British culture, traditional and celebrations. He tells us about the new people he meets, the places he visits and his personal experiences.

LONDON
TRAFALGAR SQUARE
Trafalgar Square is a square of the center of London, constructed to commemorate Trafalgar's battle in which the British navy won to the navies French and Spanish. The original name was a square of Guillermo IV, but George Ledwell Taylor suggested to change the name.
GLOBE THEATRE
The Globe Theatre was a theatre in London associated with William Shakespeare. It was built in 1599 and was destroyed in 1613.A second Globe Theatre was built on the same site in 1614 and closed in 1642.
RIVER THAMES
The River Thames is a river that flows through southern England. At 215 miles it is the longest river entirely in England and the second longest in the United Kingdom, after the River Severn. It also flows through Oxford.
THE TUBE
The Tube or London Underground is a public rapid transit system serving London and some parts of the adjacent counties of Buckinghamshire, Essex and Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.The world's first underground railway, the Metropolitan Railway, which opened in 1863.
CHINATOWN
Chinatown is the neighborhood of London, and it is located in the Soho, in the City of Westminster of London. It occupies the area inside and about Gerrard Street. It contains a series of Chinese restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, shops of recollections, and other Chinese companies.
NOTHING HILL CARNIVAL
The Notting Hill Carnival is an annual event that has taken place since 1966 on the streets of Notting Hill. It is led by members of the British West Indian community, and attracts around one million people annually, making it one of the world's largest street festivals, and a significant event in British culture.
YORK
JORVIK VIKING CENTER
The Jorvik Viking Centre is a museum and visitor attraction in York, England. It was created by the York Archaeological Trust in 1984. Its name is derived from the Old Norse name Jórvík for York. The centre was badly damaged by flooding over Christmas 2015, but was repaired and reopened on 8 April 2017.
YORK MINSTER
York Minister is the cathedral of York, and is one of the largest of its kind in Northern Europe. The minster is the seat of the Archbishop of York, the second-highest office of the Church of England, and is the mother church for the Diocese of York and the Province of York.
COPPERGATE MARKET
Coppergate Shopping Centre is a shopping centre in the centre of York in North Yorkshire, England. It is named after Coppergate, one of York's medieval streets
OXFORD
OXFORD UNIVERSITY
The University of Oxford is a collegiate research university located in Oxford, England. It has no known date of foundation, but there is evidence of teaching as far back as 1096, making it the oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's second-oldest university in continuous operation.
MAGDALEN COLLEGE
Magdalen College is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. As of 2014, the college had an estimated financial endowment of £180.8 million.Magdalen stands next to the River Cherwell and has within its grounds a deer park and Addison's Walk.
MAY BALL
A May Ball is a ball at the end of the academic year that takes place at any of the colleges of the University of Cambridge. They are elaborate and lavish formal affairs, requiring black tie or sometimes white tie, with ticket prices ranging from around £100 to as much as £640 for a pair of dining tickets at Trinity.

DAVID BECKHAM
David Robert Joseph Beckham is an ex-football player English, whose professional career covered slightly more than twenty years. Beckham did his début with the Manchester United in 1992, with 17 years. Then he passed to be a part of Real Madrid, forming a part of the Galactic Age of Real Madrid.

Old Trafford is a football stadium in Manchester in North West England. It is home to the club Manchester United F.C. It is the second biggest stadium in Great Britain, with Wembley Stadium being the biggest. It was built in 1910 and the Club has always been played there. It has costed about £60,000,000.
EDINBURGH
OLD TOWN
The Old Town is the name popularly given to the oldest part of Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh. The area has preserved much of its medieval street plan and many Reformation-era buildings. Together with the 18th-century New Town, it forms part of a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site.
EDINBURGH CASTLE
Edinburgh Castle is a historic fortress which dominates the skyline of the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, from its position on the Castle Rock. Archaeologists have established human occupation of the rock since at least the Iron Age. There has been a royal castle on the rock since at least the reign of David I in the 12th century, and the site continued to be a royal residence until 1633.
SAINT GILES CATHEDRAL
St Giles' Cathedral is the principal place of worship of the Church of Scotland in Edinburgh. Its distinctive crown steeple is a prominent feature of the city skyline, at about a third of the way down the Royal Mile which runs from the Castle to Holyrood Palace. The church has been one of Edinburgh's religious focal points for approximately 900 years.
