This is a reminder about tomorrow night's Kindergarten Information Night! Please join us in-person for a presentation in the Chris Walsh Performing Arts Center (auditorium) at Fuller Middle School to learn more about the Kindergarten experience.
Following the presentation, take an opportunity to meet before and after school providers, as well as, staff members from different school departments, such as Multilingual Education, Special Education, Health and Wellness, and many more!

Introduction
If you have or know a child who will be 5-years-old by August 31, 2024 - this information is extremely helpful and necessary to navigating the Kindergarten Registration process for the 2024-2025 school year!
Step number 1 is to complete the Online Pre-Registration.
If your pre-registration is complete and you still need information on an upcoming Registration Appointment with the Department of Student Registration, please contact them at register@framingham.k12.ma.us or at 508-424-3420.

Important Registration Dates
- Now - Monday, April 1, 2024: Online pre-registration
Monday, December 4, 2023 - Monday, April 1, 2024: Schedule a phone appointment with the Department of Student Registration
Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 6pm: Attend Kindergarten Information Night Event at Fuller Middle School (will also be broadcast live on the FPS Facebook Page and FEC-TV)
March 2024: In-Person School Tours
Friday, April 5, 2024: Deadline to Submit School Choice Form
Friday, May 10, 2024: Receive School Assignment Email
Friday, May 17, 2024: Deadline to inform the Department of Student Registration if your child will no longer be attending Kindergarten at Framingham Public Schools
Monday, June 3, 2024: Kindergarten Orientation
Kindergarten Information Night
Please save the date of January 23rd for an in-person Kindergarten Information event. Caregivers of incoming Kindergarten students are invited to attend a presentation in the Chris Walsh Performing Arts Center (auditorium) at Fuller Middle School to learn more about the Kindergarten experience.

Meet before and after school providers
Meet staff members from different school departments, such as Multilingual Education, Special Education, Health and Wellness, and many more!
Spanish and Portuguese speaking interpreters and staff will be on-site for the event and during the presentation which will be broadcasted live. The presentation will also be recorded for those who cannot attend. The presentation videos will be shared in English, Spanish, and Portuguese in the weeks that follow.

2024 Kindergarten Information Night
Language Access: Spanish and Portuguese speaking interpreters will be on-site for the presentation.
Registration is not required for this event! We just want to be able to gauge interest and also have the ability to contact attendees if the event needs to be postponed for any reason.

Homepage
The homepage contains the main navigation to be able to access School and Department websites, as well as other important information.
- Upcoming Events and Important Dates contain key districtwide dates, events, and deadlines.
- District News contains district-wide communication or announcements.
- The Press Release section contains anything news and noteworthy that has been shared with local media outlets for wider distribution.
- Social Media Feeds display student and staff stories, operational updates/reminders, community information, and other news
Department of Student Registration Website
The most important and relevant information here is focused on new student registration - both for Kindergarten or any grade for families who move into Framingham.
School Websites
Each school has a website where you can find contact information and news/updates. We do our best to make sure they remain current, but if you cannot find something, please contact Marcy Arms, the District's Webmaster, or call Rochelle Santos, the Media and Communications Manager at 508-782-6099.
Department Websites
Each department such as Transportation, Department of Multilingual Education, Special Education, Health and Wellness, etc has their own section of the website. Here they provide information on initiatives, contact information, access to forms, and more.
