The Mustang Messenger
November 10th, 2022
Greetings Mustang Families!
We had a short but eventful week between the time change, rain storms, full moon, speech competition and food drive.
Today marks the half way part of the quarter and progress report grades will be recorded on Monday. Please check Infinite Campus for your student's grades to see how they are doing academically in their classes so far this quarter. Please contact your student's teachers or counselor if they need extra support.
Have a great, long weekend!
Catherine Nicholas, Ed.D.

Adopt a Book Event
The Adopt A Book event at the Rancho Pico Library placed over 30 books that had fallen out of circulation in the library in new homes with students who chose to adopt them to read at their leisure.
Wednesday night Rancho Pico hosted the Santa Clarita Valley Business Group's 8th Grade Speech Competition. The topic was: "What do you believe is your strongest character trait, and how will this trait assist you in reaching your personal goals?" We had four amazing students deliver incredible speeches:
Ava Lim
Arundhathi Jathin
Adhvika Ram
Allison Dario
I would also like to shout out to Mrs. Mumford and Mr. Trowell for coaching and supporting the students and helping to organize the event.
