1. Avoid violent or bloody images. It is okay to look "scary," but there is a difference between frightening and gruesome.

2. Eye and face masks are acceptable (make sure that vision is not impaired). Makeup should be minimal and applied at home. *Remember--learning will still be taking place. So, your child may be asked to remove his/her mask until appropriate.

3. Please make sure that your child's costume has nothing hanging below the wrist or ankle. Tripping and/or getting materials caught is a major concern.

4. Props (if any) must be manageable.

5. Weapons of any kind are not permitted.

Our room parents have worked with our classroom teachers to plan some SPOOK-tacular parties for our students. During this designated time, students will play games and engage in opportunities to socialize with their peers. The cost of this party is $5. Please send $5 in to your classroom teacher in an envelope with your child's name and labeled "Halloween Party".

All parent volunteers have already been pre-assigned for this event. Any parents who are working the classroom party should stop into the office ahead of October 31st with their driver's license so we can put you into our system. This will allow us to have your badges printed and ready for you upon arrival and will allow you to get to the rooms faster.

We will continue our tradition of having our Halloween Parade. This event will take place outdoors {weather permitting}. In the event that the weather is not cooperating, we will move the parade indoors for students and staff only. Should we have to have it inside, we will live stream it for families to join in from home or work.

We know that some families like to send in items for students to take home. Please send non-perishable items only.
