Support Your Timberwolf: Fun Run!
Support Your Timberwolf: Fun Run!
What is Support Your Timberwolf? A great opportunity to support our children’s education. No selling! 100% of the money goes to Tiffany Ridge! Our Students have participated in a Dance-A-Thon in the fall and now it is time to enjoy a Fun Run on May 12th! Your students are raising money to purchase additional playground equipment and to fund teacher grant requests for classroom projects. Park Hill funds are only available to cover a portion of the cost for these items. This fundraiser will allow 100% of the money raised to be used for our students.
How can you help? A $20 suggested donation amount per child will help us reach our goals, however any amount you feel comfortable donating would be appreciated. All donations benefit Tiffany Ridge students!
Our goal is to have 100% participation, with at least ONE pledge per student!
Classrooms who return all envelopes will earn a special celebration!
Now What? Students collect pledges prior to the Fun Run and record them on the pledge envelope, which will be sent home prior to the Fun Run event week. Please be sure to collect the money when the pledge is made. All pledge envelopes and money are due in the office by Friday, May 19th. The goal is to raise money for our school, participate in healthy behaviors and have some fun with our friends! Thanks for your help to make this a successful event!
Parent Input for Classroom Placement
Every year we give families the opportunity to provide us feedback regarding their child's placement for the next school year. Although we do not honor teacher requests, we will take your feedback into consideration when placing students for the 2023-2024 school year.
Now is the time to enroll for Summer School

How Can YOU Protect Your Child from Cyberbullying?
According to Stopbullying.gov, “Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets. Cyberbullying can occur through SMS, Text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where people can view, participate in, or share content. Cyberbullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation. Some cyberbullying crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behavior.”
The BEST way to prevent cyberbullying is to monitor all your child’s devices and all online presence. Set up clear guidelines for the privilege of deice usage and discuss expectations of online behavior. Require that you have access to their accounts and check them regularly. One easy way to do this is to have all devices in one place to charge overnight. This also prevents internet usage overnight, which many students admit to doing after parents go to sleep.
Look for warning signs that your child is either being cyberbullied or is cyberbullying others. These signs include an increase of device usage, strong emotional responses to what is happening on their device, hiding the screen or device when others are near, new social media accounts or deleting of accounts. If you find evidence of cyberbullying keep documentation, such as screen shots, and report it immediately to the app or social media platform. If there are personal threats, you can also report to your local police. If cyberbullying occurs on a school provided device, report the incidents to the school via teacher and/or school counselor.
