I CANNOT believe last week was only our first full week of school. These kids have done an amazing job of getting back into the swing of things. Hopefully, the heat and flooding is behind us! I appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigated the early release.

The first PTO meeting is this WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th at 6:00PM in the Studley library.

Please remember to sign into your ASPEN account and sign off that you have read the student handbook. It is really important you do this, so we are all on the same page of what is expected. I appreciate your time with this.

Below is our staff photo from the first day of school (for teachers). Each year, we kick off the school year with a group photo! In my opinion, you will not find a more dedicated and committed staff than this one! I am SO lucky to work with them, and they truly put their hearts and souls into their work. I hope you feel it, too! You will hear me say this over and over - but the Studley community is a special one, and that includes all of you as well!

It is that time of year again when we are looking to form our School Council. This group is made up of SES staff, parents/guardians, and community members. We meet monthly right before the PTO meeting. The purpose of this group is to work together on ways to improve our school.

Based on interest, we may need to hold elections.

Thank you to all those who participated in our first spirit day! Such creativity and fun was seen throughout - spirits day help to bring the school together!

As a reminder, breakfast is served each morning 8:30AM-8:45AM. Students who do not eat at home, have the ability to eat at school before the school day starts. If your child chooses to eat breakfast, please arrive to school as close to 8:30AM as possible. We try to get the students back in class to start the day with the rest of their classmates. Also, it would be helpful if you could remind them each morning if they need breakfast. They can go right to the cafeteria instead of reporting to their class. This is NOT true for kindergarten. They report to their teacher first and follow a more structured process.

Please note that even though meals will be free for all students this school year, it remains essential for families who believe they qualify to complete the household Application for Free and Reduced Price Meals for the 2023- 2024 school year. The district is steadily making progress with helping families access Rooms. In addition to contacting @Kimberly Janssen, there are two websites that can provide information/help with Rooms:

Please log into ASPEN and sign off on the student handbook for your child. Please review the directions below if you need support with the ASPEN task. Once completed, our office staff will complete the process.

As we start a new year, it is critical to get into a strong routine with attendance. This includes arriving to school on time. Any student arriving at 8:45 or later will be marked tardy. Students will need to be buzzed in by the front office and walked in by an adult. We appreciate your cooperation with this!
