Have you ever asked your student how his/her day was and you get one word answers? Use these questions to ask specific questions about the week and get him/her talking!

• SS7 - List three problems Afghanistan still faces today?
• Science 6 - Define DENSITY and explain which is more DENSE: a smashed marshmallow or a fluffy marshmallow?
• Acc. Math 7 - In what areas did you grow on MAP? What goals do you have for the spring test?
• Math 7 - Did you grow on your math MAP test?
• Science 7 - What are the reactants of cellular respiration
• ELA 6 - What part of the narrative did you practice this week?

• ELA 7 - How do you analyze a poem or song lyrics?

• Math 6 - How much growth did you have on your math MAP testing?

• Keycode - Describe good typing technique.

• Art 6: Tell me about your Symmetry Name Monster. What coloring techniques have you learned?

• Stagecraft: What props/costumes are you working on currently?

• Art 7: Tell me about the Album Art Project you're working on. What materials are you using for your project?

• Adv Art: Tell me about the project you started in Advanced Art.

• PE: What are your fitnessgram pre-test scores, what score puts you in the "healthy zone," and what is your goal for the post-test?

• Band: Have you practiced your scale and pass-off this week? Practicing 30 minutes per day, at least 5 days per week is recommended for best results.

• Language Lab: What are the nine parts of speech, and why do you need to know about it?

Tuesday, February 7th: Co-Parenting Across Separations and Generations

Participants will learn skills for co-parenting after separation or within an extended support network: how to set boundaries, communicate, maintain relationships, and resolve conflicts. Register here.

May 1-5 - 6th grade UA trip (Science field trip); one team per day

May 8 - Band Concert

May 9 - Choir Concert
