Thank you for making us feel so special this week. The cards, flowers, gifts, and emails are a great reminder of how we are a team. We appreciate all the love, especially in May.
Enjoy this cold weekend!

Music News
Fabulous job to the musicians who performed at the LBC Farmer's Market on Saturday, April 29! And a huge thank you to all who came out to support us!
Riebli's 4th-6th grade music students have one more performance on Monday, May 22 at an assembly during the school day at 11:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to attend - just be sure to check in as a visitor at the school office. Please help students remember their instruments on Monday, May 22, as Mrs. Kaufman will collect all borrowed school instruments after the performance. Students WILL NOT be able to borrow a spare instrument if they forget their instrument on May 22. If your child plays clarinet, trumpet, or violin, please make sure they have returned their book ASAP. If the book has gone missing or has been damaged, you will need to replace the book before school lets out for summer.
Cell phone and smart watch reminder!
Dear Parents,
Over the past year or so, we've had several cases of students using communication devices during school hours. They may be used outside school hours. Cell phones and smart watches are allowed at school, but may not be used to contact others, including parents. It is possible that you, or your child was unaware of this policy. If your child needs to contact you, they can come to the office, if you need to get a message to them, please call or email the office. I'm attaching the Mark West School District policy on personal devices for your reference. If you have any questions, please contact me.
"Students may bring personal technology, including computers, smart phones, network access devices, or other electronic signaling devices to school provided that such technology is used for instructional purposes. Students shall abide by the instructions provided by teachers and other school staff in the use of such personal technologies. Access to the Internet or other District communication systems from personal technology is limited to wireless access points on the school campuses or other access devices away from school. Access to the Internet or other District communication systems from personal technology is not available via hardwire connections."
Click here for the board policy about technology for more information.
