A Note from Mr. Semmler
1) Parents and Students,
The following attachment contains bus information for all students attending summer school. There are 3 documents included, all junior high students attending for restorative credit will attend Wright Junior High.
2) Hope on the Brazos
Hope On the Brazos helps families and students needing assistance with back-to-school uniforms or school clothes, socks, and underwear at no charge. Hope On the Brazos helps families and students needing assistance with back-to-school uniforms or school clothes, socks, and underwear at no charge. It will be held at LCISD Common Threads, 414 S. 9th Street, Richmond, TX 77469. The dates of the event are all Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the month of July, excluding July 4th. There are two shifts each day: 8:30 to 11:30 am and 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The volunteer opportunities include greeters, shoppers, stockers, and data entry. Great opportunities too for student members of clubs or organizations to volunteer as a group. 3) Gulf Coast Workforce Board cordially invite your 6th – 12th grade students and parents within your school district to attend the Jobs Y'all event in your area, taking place at Houston Community College-Central Campus on June 10, 2023, from 10 am to 1 pm.
4) Programs available to all student to continue learning with an exception of a few days to a week while data rolls over to the new year. They are available through ClassLink (alphabetically)

We are so expectant for what lies ahead as we kick off our #PrayForGenZ initiative focused on reaching Gen-Z.
We wanted to invite all of LCISD as we kick this initiative off with an exclusive Parents and Educators Gathering. At the event, you will get to hear from Steven Robertson, acclaimed author of Aliens Among Us: 10 Surprising Truths about Gen Z, and founder of BOLD-Training.
Steven is an internationally recognized keynote speaker, experienced consultant and transformative trainer who equips, trains, and professionally develops businesses and institutions to not only change their perspective but also to lead differently to stay relevant. More specifically, his efforts focus on how to recruit, retain, and lead the emerging generation as employees in a multi-generational work environment.
This event is for Educators and Pastors that are passionate about reaching Gen-Z.

Fort Bend Regional council is pleased to announce that registration is now open for their FREE Summer Explosion Camp. This jam jacked day camp will give your student something FUNcational to do for a week but it is on a first come, first served basis.
