DMS MEDIA CENTER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

Can you spare a few hours a week? We are looking for a few people to donate time each week to help in the Media Center with shelving books and other duties. Please contact: Letha Roberts

Join DMS Media Committee

The committee consists of teachers, parents and students who wish to help make decisions on book/video purchases, weeding, and promotion ideas.

Meetings are held monthly in the Media Center from 8:15 - 9 AM. Some decisions are made via emails.

If you have been on our committee in the past and want to continue, please let me know. If you want to join, send an email to Ms. Greer with "Media Committee" in the subject line.

IMPORTANT:

Dacula Middle uses a phone autodialer to contact all parents with general information on a regular basis. When you are contacted by the autodialer a recorded message will begin when you answer your phone. If you do not answer your phone the dialer will leave the recorded message on your voicemail. Please listen to the message carefully for important information from DMS. If you should need more information after listening to the message then call the school and we will be happy to help you!

DMS Orchestra

6th Grade: Please remember to pay $30 orchestra fee through www.mypaymentsplus.com If you are having trouble paying this fee, then you may send a check. Also, please review DMS Orchestra Handbook that is located in the orchestra E-class and fill out the handbook agreement form electronically. Please remember to mark your student's polo shirt size, so the shirts can be ordered.

7th/8th Grade: The fall concert is on Tuesday, October 6th in the cafeteria. Please save the date and support your student.

7th grade tuning will start at 6:00 p.m. and the concert will begin at 6:30 p.m.

8th grade tuning will start at 7:00 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7:15 p.m.

All students must wear khaki pants(no khaki jeans or khaki skinny pants), orchestra polo shirt, black dress shoes with black socks. If your student is not dressed properly, then it will affect her or his concert grade.
