Welcome to the BHS Express
A newsletter keeping you informed about Batavia High School
October 20, 2023
Andrea Conner, BHS Principal
Hello Bulldog Families.
A lot of progress has been made in our new high school building as we’ve all adjusted to the new traffic flows for our cars and our students. It’s hard to believe we are approaching the last week of our first quarter!
As Friday, October 27, 2023 is the last day of our first quarter, please work with your students to help them make sure they’ve completed all missing work and are ready to transition into the second quarter. If you still need access to your student’s Progress Book account, please reach out. We can help you with that. The positive, supportive relationship between the school and the home is the strongest factor in supporting your teen’s success in high school.
If your student is a senior, pay particular attention to the Senior Pictures that will be taken with Dingo Photography on Wednesday, October 25th. In order for seniors to be in the yearbook and in the class composite, they must be photographed with Dingo. Since these photos are meant to be lasting memories, students will be asked to dress nicely in darker colors, as these colors photograph best. Graduate Services will also return to BHS to collect the cap and gown orders during lunch on October 30th.
Enjoy the beautiful fall weather, and have a restful weekend.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING
- We do not permit our students to DoorDash to our high school. If food is brought in from the outside during the school day, we ask that parents bring the food to the office, during their student’s assigned lunch period, and we will make sure they receive it. This is a safety precaution. Thank you for helping us work with your students concerning this issue.
- Graduate Services will be at BHS on Monday, October 30th to collect cap/gown orders as well as ring orders.
- Graduate Services will be at Live Oaks to meet with Batavia Seniors. Please reference this link for more information:Live Oaks Graduate Services Information
