Welcome to our newest children Kenzie & Georgia in Rm 1, and Logan in Rm 5. Our roll is 163 with 2 new entrants to start before the end of the year.

Monday 21st September. All envelopes have been sent home. If you have not got one, please check your child's bag before checking with Jenny in the office. Sibling and sports envelopes are available from Jenny in the office. Please note there will only be Turnbull Cup, Netball teams and School Leaders photos this year.

Please ensure your children arrive at school on time on Monday in clean uniform, well groomed.

We would like to extend an invitation to all mums out there to come and meet for morning tea / coffee on Tuesday 22nd Sept in the school staffroom after morning drop off, from 9am. It would be great to see some of our new mums there, to meet other mums from the school and have a chance to talk and ask questions of those in attendance.

At this stage Taranaki Primary Schools Cross Country Champs will go ahead. If we do NOT move to level one on Monday night and have to stay in level two this event will be cancelled. Children will be advised of their entry and given information over the next couple of days regarding the arrangements for this. If unsure, then Kelly Lewer is the teacher to make contact with.

A huge thank you to Dan and the team at New World, Stratford for the delivery yesterday of a garden bed kitset, compost and seeds as part of the 'Little Garden' promotions. Room 4 have been tasked with deciding where to build the garden and we will hopefully be able to keep you up to date with photos of the growing process.

A reminder to get Pet Day entries in by end of this week.

On the day - Pet judging will start at 10am and lambs and calf judging at 10.30am. Registrations will open from 9.30am. There will be no raffles, cake stall or food stalls apart from sausages. This is to allow families to enjoy the essence of the day - children and their pets.

Classes will be involved in their craft activities and classrooms will be open for parents to view their creations before, during and after the animal judging.

Next week we will send home a detailed notice including what craft materials children may need.

Anything for recycling, construction....buttons, boxes, egg containers to Room 4 or 5.

Please settle outstanding accounts for sports subs etc and uniforms before the end of term. Thank you.

The Eltham Athletic Club is having their AGM this coming Monday 21st September at 7pm to be held at E-town. Everyone welcome.

The 2020-2021 season is not far away now and Covid willing it will be an exciting one. Colgate is again in Taranaki in January and Eltham is hosting Norok cup so get involved in the club nice and early this season.
