Early Childhood and WELE Welcome Time Sessions
Be sure that you look at the start times for your child's program. Please be sure to attend during your AM program or PM program time. Times are different for EC and WELE.
Students should attend with one parent or caregiver. If both parents want to attend, that is allowed, but due to space, no more than 2 parents/caregivers can attend. We also ask that siblings not attend as this is an activity specifically for your EC/WELE student. Thank you in advance for understanding.
Parents/caregivers will transport their child to the school and attend the session with their child. Students should bring their school supplies to unpack in the classroom during this visit.

Busing Information
Please check your child’s bus stop location by logging in to Versatrans e-Link (bus times are still being finalized). Your Family ID number is both the login and password, and this can be found in Skyward Family Access under “Student Information”. (View "My Child's Family" and look for "Family ID Number".) The bus app technology continues to improve. You are able to track your child's bus through the app, or access Versatrans from your desktop!
If a bus stop change is needed, please fill out the Revised Bus Information (English / Spanish) as soon as possible. Please understand, one slight change to a route forces a change for every stop that follows. If you know that circumstances have changed for your child (for example, they will be going to a new daycare provider), do not wait until school starts to contact Transportation. Typically, changes take a 3-day turnaround.
For further assistance, please call the main Transportation number at 847-856-3644, or email them at trans@dist50.net.
When you and your child come to their Welcome Time session, you will receive your child’s i.d.tag at your Welcome Time Session. The i.d. tag should be attached to your child’s backpack so that they can board the bus each day.
***Please remember that in the first weeks of school, our buses can be delayed or sometimes early. It's good to be at the stop 10 minutes prior to your pick-up/drop-off time. Especially with our youngest wildcats, getting on and off the bus is a routine we get better at each time. Thank you in advance for your patience!
Below is the new App to use to track your child's bus. Remember, you can find your family ID in Family Access.
First Day of Attendance is on Thursday, August 24th!
Remember, starting their day on time, having a routine, and feeling good about coming to school all help with their mindset each day. Start the day with a smile and remind your child that they can do this!

Time to Eat! Breakfast & Lunch Options
It is important that each family know the meal options available at Woodland Primary. All students can order breakfast or lunch at school each day. If students will be ordering breakfast, the daily fee is $1.40. Students that sign up to eat breakfast will eat as soon as they arrive at school.
Each month you will sign up if you would like your child to order breakfast. The form to sign up for August is below. Please be sure to sign up before the first day of school, only students that have ordered breakfast will be sent to the cafeteria as we don't want to incur charges without parental permission. Breakfast will start on the first day of school, August 24th.
Ordering Lunch
Students have the option to bring a lunch from home or order a school lunch. Kindergarten students that plan to order a school lunch will order in their classroom with their teacher. Be sure that your child knows to order a school lunch. All lunches cost $3.20.
EC/WELE PM students have to pre-order their lunch on the form below. Just like ordering breakfast for our AM students, we won't send students to lunch unless they have pre-ordered so that we don't incur charges to your account without your permission.
Menus and all meal information can be found on the district webpage HERE.
