Tech Tribe Badge Challenges allow teachers the opportunity to learn and integrate tech tools in their classrooms. Completing the challenge for a tech tool makes teachers eligible for a "Tech Tribe" badge for their work. Badges can be proudly displayed by their classroom door to let everyone know how fabulous they are at integrating technology! Teachers work hard at their own pace to complete Challenges such as Google Classroom, Google Drive, Poll Everywhere, Nearpod, Pear Deck, Plickers, Digital Citizenship, and many more. Once you have completed the challenge, complete a Badge Form to receive a Tech Tribe Badge as a reward and recognition for your commitment to moving our students toward college and career readiness.

Google Drawings is a free, web-based diagramming software developed by Google. It allows users to collaborate and work together in real time to create flowcharts, organizational charts, mind maps, concept maps, and other types of diagrams. Users can also insert images and links to other Google documents.

The educator will create a Google Drawing for their classroom. Students will use Google Drawings to create a product as well.

1. Open the Graphic Organizer Templates in Google Drawings

2. Make a copy of the graphic of your choice to incorporate into a lesson.

3. Set-up the graphic to use in your lesson.

4. Have students enter information into the graphic organizer template you set-up individually or in collaborative groups.

5. Have students create another Google Drawing from scratch that incorporates content they are learning. It could include text, images, links, etc.

1. Insert the shareable link for the Google Drawing template you created.

2. Insert the shareable link for the Google Drawing that 1-2 students created from your template.

3. Insert the shareable link to the Google Drawing your student(s) made from scratch that relates to content you are teaching.

Three separate links should be submitted in order to earn your Google Drawings badge.

**To insert multiple links in the same box on the form, just press the space bar a few times and copy and paste the additional link after the first link is pasted.
