Class Call Links
You can continue to use your zoom link for week 3!
In order for this move to be intentional, and not cause families & admin frustration with accessing classes the following MUST happen:
- Create your zoom link (by signing in with google - your KIPPTX email account)
- When creating your link ensure that your time is for all day and you have clicked recurring.
- if you need students to sign in with their KIPPTX account, you click "authenticated users only" BUT remember, NOT all students have access to their KIPPTX email, so this may not be a good thing right now
- embed your link into the following
- Your weekly schedule (post this on Bloomz & send to parents)
- your google classroom \
- the links tracker: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lXQ4UwcxCDIeHhG696y5iDSYx1JALgxv6rr-yoRsAnY/edit?usp=sharing

Urgent KPE Schedule Update!
We have urgent schedule change announcements:
The WHY: We are moving into the beginning of our curriculum, and we want to be able to see students and provide effective feedback. In order to do that, we need to reduce the number of students on the call at one time.
The What: K-4 grade teachers will teach academic lessons 2 times a day. (so there will NOT be a campus wide reading block vs math block - there will simply be 2 instructional blocks)
9:00 - 9:30: Morning Meeting/ SEL Lessons
9:40 - 11:00 Instructional Block #1
(Your homeroom students - both content teachers homerooms on call together)
12:40 -2:00 Instructional Block #2
(Your Team partners' students - both team partner's students on call together)
So what must be updated: the Weekly schedule that goes out to families will look the same, but provide the content links for the student's new time.
Please communicate to families that their student will still log on at the same times, but the content they join may be different.
This schedule will begin September 14th!!!
Scholarly Learning Environment
- having videos on so teachers can engage with students
- Have student Full name on the screen
- respect the rules of the chat box.
If a student is defiant or struggles to meet expectations, you may place them in the waiting room, call the parent to intervene then resubmit them to the lesson.
