Negotiations Update
Glendale Unified School District is committed to meeting every child's academic and social emotional needs while protecting the health and safety of our students, employees, families, and community. On Wednesday, March 31, Glendale Unified school and district leaders met with members of the Glendale Teachers Association (GTA) bargaining team to discuss a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year.
Glendale Unified and GTA agree that robust health and safety measures, compensation for extra duties, and professional autonomy are essential for educators to effectively implement hybrid instruction in the best interest of our students.
The District is currently implementing many of the measures included in both parties’ proposed MOUs. Read the full update to learn more.
We are excited to welcome our elementary students back to our campuses this week! Check out some of the highlights!
