Hunter Fehsal, House 6-1
House 6-1 is proud to announce Hunter Fehsal as our Student of the Month. Hunter is respectful. He demonstrates this by being courteous to others and by having a positive attitude. Hunter follows all school rules and expectations. He always makes positive choices and is on time and ready to learn every day. Hunter is a great role model for his Jefferson peers! Additionally, Hunter was a valuable member of the Blockheads, one of our First Lego League Teams. Keep up the great work Hunter. We are proud to have you as a Hillhawk.
Riley Glew, House 6-1
House 6-1 is proud to announce Riley Glew as our Student of the Month. Riley Glew took the initiative to help a student in math without the teacher telling her to help. Day after day, she helped him organize his work, turn to the correct page, etc. She found ways to help this students without needing the teacher to tell her what to do. Riley is always kind to others. Her positive attitude is contagious. She is a great role model for all of our students. We are happy to have her representing House 6-1 and the Hillhawks! Keep up the great work Riley.
Quiana Sabers, House 6-2
Quiana was chosen for student of the month as she is an outgoing and helpful student! Quiana is consistently prepared for class, has a positive attitude and goes above and beyond the Jefferson expectations. Quiana is usually one of the first students to volunteer to assist a peer or a teacher. She is an active participant in and out of the classroom. Most recently, Quiana participated on the 6th grade Lego League Team. We expect to see Quiana continue to excel while at Jefferson. Keep up the great work, Quiana!
Marcus Sierra, House 6-2
Marcus was chosen for student of the month because of the way he interacts with others. Marcus is respectful to his peers and teachers. Marcus is always prepared for class with his supplies. He is a model student at Jefferson. Marcus willingly participates in class and always has a smile on his face. Keep up the great work, Marcus! We are very proud of you!
Trentyn Howes, House 7-1
Trentyn has worked really hard and it has not gone unnoticed by his teachers. We have seen vast improvement in his writing ability this year. Trentyn is very patient in the classroom. He is a hard worker, helpful, compassionate, and is determined to succeed. His teachers look forward to seeing his smiling face and hearing his friendly, “hello” in the halls. His GPA is one that many seventh graders strive to achieve. He is able to be a member of band and jazz band while maintaining his outstanding his GPA. Your personality and intrinsic motivation is appreciated by all those around you!
Blake Schleter, House 7-1
House 7-1 is proud to have Blake in our house. Blake is always willing to help his peers and has a very patient demeanor. If there is a problem Blake’s first instinct is to solve it on his own. Mrs. Willey appreciates him editing his peers papers and giving helpful feedback. In math class if there is a problem Blake won’t stop working until he solves it. Blake is a leader. He works hard to do exactly what he is supposed to do and his peers notice this and tend to follow suite. His excitement for learning new concepts is infectious. The Hillhawks were grateful to have him for the games they did, until he broke his wrist!
Tyler Rhomberg, House 7-2
The 7-2 Team is happy to announce Tyler Rhomberg as Student of the Month. Tyler’s calm and friendly demeanor makes him a pleasure to be around. He is a great friend to his peers and an excellent participant in group activities. Tyler is always helpful and respectful toward adults. He gladly assists his classmates and is always a focused, active member in class. Tyler takes all his school work and activities seriously. He comes prepared for class each day and has continued to learn and improve academically throughout the year. We are fortunate to have Tyler’s pleasant, polite, and kind personality in 7-2.
William Smith, House 7-2
The 7-2 Team is pleased to choose William Smith as Student of the Month. Will is an excellent role model for other students. Each day he comes to school with a positive attitude and great sense of humor. He always has a smile on his face. Will’s positive, happy demeanor brings out the best in others, which makes him a great participant in any group or team activities. Will is the type of student, who continuously strives to do his best in all his classes each day. He is a hard worker, who comes prepared for class with all work completed on time. He is very disciplined, so when he finds something challenging, he never gives up until he has successfully completed the project or assignment. He has made excellent academic progress throughout his 7th grade year. We are fortunate to have a positive, fun, and hard-working individual like William in 7-2.
Cole Heim, House 8-1
House 8-1’s December student of the month is Cole Heim. Cole positively impacts the students and staff at TJMS. Cole is a positive student with a great attitude and a wonderful sense of humor. His positive energy spreads to others every day, and really enhances the classroom and school atmosphere. He truly cares about his work and goes above and beyond on a daily basis. Cole is always eager to contribute to classroom discussions and really helps his teachers facilitate deep and meaningful discussions.
Allison Klein, House 8-1
House 8-1 nominates Allison Klein as December’s student of the month. We chose Allison because she represents everything we want as a student at TJMS. She is organized, responsible, caring, and generous. Allison is willing to take on a leadership role in her group and is willing to volunteer in class. Recently she has accepted a role as a green dot representative for TJMS. As well as being a great student Allison is a great individual.
Derrick Dean, House 8-2
Our student of the month for December is Derrick Dean. Derrick is a hard-working student who excels in the classroom. Derrick is always ready to give an answer and is always willing to help his classmates and his teachers. He is a respectful, polite student with a quick-wit, making him a great addition to the classroom. Derrick is also a dedicated student in orchestra, he practices at home and is responsible in class. He pushes himself to work harder every day.
Diann Kamram, House 8-2
Diann Kamram is one of the December students of the month for House 8-2. Diann exhibits strong leadership skills around her Marshallese family. She is considered the "mama cat" of her culture. She looks out after everyone's best interest keeping her own second. She is also competitive in nature especially when it comes to playing volleyball. She is passion about this sport and hopes to play on the American Olympic team someday. She shows wonderful character on a daily basis and is a joy to teach.
