December has flown by! We've had some very cold temperatures and a few days where our buses were not running, so it seems to have been shorter than it actually was!

We were very excited to host our Christmas Concert again this year. A big thank you to everyone who attended, we were happy to have you experience the Christmas Joy with us. Thanks to all of the school staff who did such a great job preparing songs and decorating our gym in preparation for the concert.

On behalf of everyone at Hay Lakes School, we want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy winter break. We are very excited to see everyone again when school resumes on January 5th.

This fall, the Hay Lakes Society for Youth Development supported the purchase of 15 instruments for our school band program. These items were being sold by Chester Ronning School, and we were able to add 5 saxophones, 4 trombones, 3 baritones, 2 bass clarinets and a trumpet to the instruments we have available for students.

Thank you so much for this generous donation to our school program.

Thank you to all the families who supported our "10 Days of Giving" food drive. A big thank you to the Village of Hay Lakes as well for their support in purchasing the Christmas Day meal for the families we supported. With what was donated, we were able to provide 10 families from our school with items to help support them in their time of need.
