BES Weekly Update

Monday, October 31, is Vocabulary Day at BES! Students are encouraged to dress up like their favorite Vocabulary word that day.

Thank you to those that have already sent in pictures of your family members that are veterans. If you have not been able to send in a copy of a picture yet, please send one in as soon as you can so we can add it to our Honor Bulletin Board before Veteran's Day

BES has the greatest kids in the world! Congrats to the kids below for earning Panda of the Week this week!

We will host an Internet Safety Parent Workshop on November 3 at 4:00 in our BES Library. It will be a webinar presented by Linewize, but there will be time for questions. We would love to have you here in our library, but we will also have link available to send out for those that need to or prefer to join virtually. The workshop will be recorded for us to post for those that are unable to join in person or virtually on the 3rd.

I would also like to announce that we now have an online safety hub linked on our district website under Parent Resource Links and listed as Internet and Technology Safety Information. Please see the link below.

Thank you so much for supporting our Fall Book Fair so well. Thank you to all the volunteers that gave their time to help our. We couldn't do it without you!

Fall Break is scheduled for November 7 & 8. School be be closed these days.

The Math and Science Governor's School of SC came Tuesday and presented a STEAM lesson to our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. They loved it!

Good afternoon,

Wow, what a great week! The book fair was a hit and the kids enjoyed the dress up days for Red Ribbon Week and learning about staying drug free. STEAM Day and STEAM Family Night on Tuesday was amazing. Thank you all for coming out for the event with your families. We had fun on Wednesday celebrating our Pandas of the Week from October at our Panda Pride Breakfast, and we wrapped up the week with a PJ Day. So much fun!! Thank you for all that you do to support our school and our kids!
