Winter Break is Upon us

Grewenow. We are Great; we are Growing!

Short week leading to holidays

Monday, December 21 and Monday, December 22 aer both FULL days of school.

They are also the ONLY school days of the week. See the image below outlining the rest of the following week and a half. Happy Holidays from the Grewenow staff!!

Material Pick up

MORE art supplies are in for ALL Grewenow students: Watercolor paints & oil pastels. Families can pick those items up along with any other supplies from their student's classroom teacher:

SPECIAL Monday/Tuesday pick ups times next week

12/21 from 8:00 - 1:00PM

AFTER WINTER BREAK

Thursdays 12:00 - 2:00PM and supplies are able to be picked up at the Main Entrance.
Any day of the school week 7:15AM - 3:00PM, families may call ahead to make arrangements to pick up supplies for their student.
***Evening time arrangements can also be made with a call in advance on a limited basis***

Virtual Classroom Tips

Each Gazette, we will share a tip for helping families talk with their students about virtual classroom etiquette. This edition, we review simple ways families can support virtual learning at home.

Find a dedicated, quiet learning space for live sessions where students can also store materials
Ensure the learning space is free of TVs, toys, gadgets, etc
Check in on your child a couple times each day to ensure their focused, participating, and completing learning tasks
Explain your student that they should treat the virtual classroom as a real classroom. Though the teacher isn't physical present, classroom rules still apply.
