Fall is here!
Thank you to all our families who attended our Ice Cream Social and Open House last night! We always enjoy opening our doors and sharing our wonderful school with you!
Halloween this year is half day with dismissal at 12:09. Students are welcome to wear a school- appropriate costume. Please no masks, no weapons, no scary costumes. Students who ride the bus will need to bring their costume in a bag and change here at school. Please help your child choose a costume they can put on independently.
At 9:30, we will host our outdoor parade. In case of rain, the parade will be cancelled. Parents are invited to view from the back field area. There is no need to sign in at office because visitors will be outside and not coming into the school. After the parade, students will return to classrooms to enjoy cider and donuts. Most importantly, we ask for your cooperation as it will be very busy here at the school. Student safety is our priority and we ask for you to only come to the office to sign in if there is an emergency.
I hope you will take a few minutes and read through this newsletter. There is a great deal of important information. As always, if you have any concerns or have any questions, I am just a phone call, email or office visit away.
Sincerely,
Cyndi Nickel
Proud Principal, Walled Lake Elementary
