January was a great month here at KHS. We were very busy with Snowcoming, winter sports, Zehnder’s Snowfest, Robotics, Weightlifting, a Kindness assembly and kicking off our second semester. I want to thank all of the mentors and coaches who sacrifice their time for our students, so we can have amazing clubs and athletics here at Kingston.

Please continue to monitor your child's grades through Skyward. We do offer after school tutoring every Monday thru Thursday from 3-4.

Club Updates Club Updates

Engineering Club

The Engineering Club is off to a fantastic start for 2024. We received a grant for $500 from MISTEM that the club plans to use for creating a presentation/demonstration for the elementary school on a STEM-related project. Additionally, we are currently working on two projects for our competition with Square One. The junior high team is participating in the miniature innovative vehicle design competition where they must use a 1/10 scale radio-controlled vehicle to perform various tasks. The high school team is participating in the autonomous innovative vehicle design competition where they have to use a power wheels car and make it drive by itself, performing various tasks like self-parking and accident avoidance. The competition for both teams happens May 3rd, at Kettering University.
