Christmas Enterprise Market
It's an understatement to say that our Christmas Enterprise was a resounding success. Thank you to everyone who took part and made this experience so amazing for the children. I've decided that because every class did so well, each class can have a movie afternoon in the coming weeks!
Here's the figures:
Reception Class - Personalised Wrapping Paper - £69.50 profit! - The Best Decorated Stall Award
Year 1/2 Class - Personalised Gift Bags - £252.00 profit! - The Most Profit Award
Year 3/4 Class - The Appleton Sweet Shop - £102.40 profit! - The Best Teamwork Award
Year 5/6 Class - Personalised Candle Decorations - £136.90 profit! - Most Creative Idea Award
That's a total of £560.80 and the income from the PTA staff to add, once we deduct the costs.
Thank you again to our amazing PTA!

Mini Christmas Trees - Andrew Raises Funds for Dementia
Handmade by Andrew from a real Christmas tree stump and branches. A great little office desktop or bedroom festive decoration! Mr Broom's got one on his desk too!
Andrew said:
“I have decided to make & sell these cute trees to raise money for a charity close to my heart. Both my Grandmas are diagnosed and suffer with Dementia and I have decided to support a charity by selling these mini Christmas trees. I have chosen to raise money for the Lewy Body Society and I hope to help many other people who suffer with this type of dementia.”
Andrew is asking for £8 each & if anyone wants to order one they can, to help us know how many. Andrew already has over 30 orders! You can do this by texting Andrew's mum, Rosie, on 07734526464. Why not pop along to the parish rooms on Saturday?

OfSTED Parent View
We start the new academic year expecting an Ofsted Inspection at some point in the year. We are certainly well overdue!
You can really help us by completing the Ofsted Parent View online survey. It's a short series of questions that should take you no longer than 10 minutes. Of course, when we do get the call, you'll get another opportunity to share your views.
Click here to access the online survey on the government website.

Staff Shout Outs
I've had a few messages from parents/carers asking about how they can send a staff shoutout for a staff team. It's great that you think about them and really does help to raise morale.
