The Houston County School District will accept applications for the 2023- 2024 Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) program between March 6 - 31. Approximately 1,300 children are expected to register for Pre-K.

Pre-K students must be four years of age on September 1, 2023. Children who will be five years old on September 1, 2023 and are not currently enrolled in one of the District’s Pre-K classrooms should register as kindergarten students for the 2023-2024 school year.

Applicants will be entered into a computer system for a lottery drawing giving no priority. All Pre-K applications submitted by March 31 will have an equal chance of computer selection, regardless of the application date. Parents will be notified by mail of acceptance or waiting list status by mid-May.

If you miss the first meeting, then join us Thursday, March 23rd @ 5:30 pm right before first grade's Rocket night in the cafeteria!

What an incredible opportunity to spend quality time with your child and mingle with school staff! Permission slips must be completed for each student in attendance.

Proceeds from this event supports Miller's Relay for Life fundraiser!

Cost is only $5 per person!
