Welcome to the fabulous month of February. It is a special time to focus on appreciation and friendship. Our students will have the opportunity to share a dance with their parents during Mother/Son and Daddy/Daughter dance February 10. You are invited to attend Valentine parties on Feb. 10 (see schedule below). We also have Kindness week where we will practice showing our love and kindness. We have many other activities planned as well. If you would like to share your appreciation for a staff member, click the link below and fill out the form. You may fill it out multiple times. Your responses will be shared with the corresponding staff member. It's going to be another great month at Lee.

Due to bad weather days, the date for the 100th day of school celebration will be adjusted. We are looking to celebrate on Monday, Feb. 6, UNLESS the weather does not coorperate. We will keep you posted.

Parents and guardians are invited to campus once a month to eat lunch with their child(ren) outside. Lunch times are listed below. You may bring food for your child or they can get a tray from the cafeteria. Please arrive early so that you have plenty of time to get settled in before your child's lunch time. We are looking forward to seeing you! Use the link below to RSVP.

In the case of bad weather, the lunch will not be rescheduled and will resume the next month.

Assorted items will be chosen at random and delivered to your child’s class on 2/10/23.

$1 for a single love gram sent to your sweetie or a friend.

$20 sends Love Grams to the entire class.

$2 for a Carnation to be sent to a Teacher or staff member.

We celebrate Kindness Week annually. It’s a celebration of all the ways we can become a positive influence in each other’s lives. Even one small act of kindness can mean a great deal to somebody. Please join us in the activities below to spread positivity at Lee and in Caddo Mills.

Join Mrs. Poteet and Mrs. Anderton on campus or virtually in monthly gatherings to learn more about what’s happening at Lee. We will meet the third Thursday of each month at noon. The virtual link will be shared through email.

Each month, we will focus on a specific character trait. Mrs. Hogan provides daily announcements and guidance lessons regarding that trait to help the students put it in action. The trait for the month of February is RESPECT. The parent newsletter is also attached.

To ensure a timely delivery, please drop off any forgotten lunch boxes before 10:30am. Students without a lunch will be allowed to purchase a tray from the cafeteria.

• School starts at 7:55 am and ends at 3:25 pm
• Tardy bell rings @ 7:55 am

Children not in the building by the 7:55 am bell are considered tardy. Please refer to our student handbook regarding our tardy policy. If your child is tardy, please do not drop your child off. For their safety, your child should be signed in at the office.

• If your child is absent, please send a note to the office by 3:25 pm on the day that they return.

• Please bring tennis shoes everyday for P.E.
