SHS Weekly Update

Congratulations to engineering students A. Gibson and J. Brown for a record-smashing first place run! Congratulations to J. Liebhart and L. McConnell for a close second place finish (we had to break the tie on the first run). Third place: A.Forwalt/D.Cunningham.

Just a reminder that the PSAT will be given this Wednesday, October 12. Testing will begin immediately after the morning pledge. Students are encouraged to eat a good breakfast and to be on time to school. Late students will not be admitted to the test. More information has been sent to student’s emails.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Isle of Wight County Schools will GO PINK on Thursday, October 13, 2022.

Many of us have been touched by breast cancer through family, friends, and co-workers, so let's join together to support them.

All schools, departments, and families are invited to participate by wearing PINK attire on Thursday, October 13.

The Writing SOL will be administered on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 25 and 26. Students must complete both days of the test. One day is multiple choice and the other day is a short essay.
