Good Morning OES families!
Although we had a four day week, everyone was tired! Students were excited to be back in school! Students and staff settled into a normal routine and many students started new units of learning. We are busy finalizing the plans for winter sports days, and ensuring that all students are fitted for proper equipment. I will send out more details in next weeks newsletter.
Our Kindergarten students compiled a video "A Day in the Life of a Kindergartener" with Ms. Beaton. This video was shared at the school board meeting last Thursday evening. I will include a link to this video in next weeks newsletter. The students are requesting $50,000.00 for the rights to the video. They will use these funds to buy marshmallows and candy!
Please remember:
Friday (January 12th) is an early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 11:15 am.
Monday (January 15th) there is no school in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.
