Tech Tidbit: Google Classroom "Ask a Question" Feature
With this new feature, you can post a question in your class stream at any time. For every question, you can choose whether or not students can edit their answers as well as see and reply to each other's answers. After you post a question, you can also see the number of students who have and haven’t answered.
More information on how it works can be found here!

TAC Issue - Auto-Save
There is a known issue in Teacher Access Center with the auto-save feature for Gradebook Scores that may cause it to not function properly. We are recommending that secondary teachers change their settings to the Manual Save option until we know the problem is resolved. Those steps are outlined below.
We also want to recommend that teachers use a direct link to Teacher Access Center when working outside of the CPS network, rather than going through the CPS portal. The direct link is – https://eschool.cpsk12.org/TAC
*Here are the steps to change TAC settings for gradebook entries to manual save:
- Click on the User Name and choose ‘Settings’ from the dropdown menu.
- Choose ‘Manual Save’ option from the Gradebook/Auto Saving settings.
