Band Parents! The trunk spots have been filled, but we still need people to sign up to donate desserts and bags of candy, help with trash collection, and clean up crew! Please help if you can. Thanks so much!
(Remember, this is not a community event. It is for band and color guard students only.)
Volunteer Central
Bandtober is in full swing!
Here are our most pressing volunteer opportunities for the week of October 22nd, please see the graphic below for all the opportunities available.
- SHOES! Dirty contest shoes need to be cleaned again. No painting required, just come out tomorrow from 5-7 and help us get them cleaned up!
- Pit Crew! Thank you to everyone who stepped up to help with Pit Crew this weekend! Our Pit Crew volunteer needs will continue to be high priority for the next several weeks. We need a lot more help Friday for the away game, Saturday for the Coppell Invitational, and planning ahead: for UIL State next week. ALL OF THE PIT CREW SIGNUPS ARE LIVE, so go to our volunteer website and plan ahead, our kids need us!! And remember, no experience is required, we have Pit Crew jobs for everyone!
- URGENT! The chaperones need to restock their supplies BEFORE State UIL. Please go to their Amazon wishlist and help them out by ordering the items they need to continue taking care of our kids! https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3TRNU01NRQ5RZ?ref_=wl_share
- Trunk or Treat is Thursday. We could use some more store-bought desserts and someone with a truck to help haul away trash at the end of the event. See signup for details.
- Keep an eye out for the midweek newsletter on Wednesday for further volunteer needs for UIL State in San Antonio, we’re still working out all those details.
- If you have any questions reach out to Nikki Wilson at volunteers@hebronband.org
Special thanks to one of our AMAZING band parents, Adriana Gutierrez who donated these items for students! Your "in-kind" donations can make such a difference when students need something special for whatever reason. Thank you for your generous donation! Thanks to ALL parents who donate behind the scenes in all kinds of ways. Your kindness does not go unnoticed!
Band Fees
Please make all past due uniform payments and fees!
Financial statements were sent out this weekend to everyone. These fees are critical to the success of the organization.
- Please take note if you have outstanding payments for uniform items. HBBC has paid for these items through our vendors and your prompt payment is required to keep our budget in balance.
We realize that the final Grand Nats payment is due this coming week and funds may be tight. However, if you are able to do so, please consider paying for all your yearly band fees in
full as soon as possible. Many of you have done this and we sincerely thank you.
HBBC needs to acquire funds to pay the many bills that come primarily in the fall. As always, billing for uniforms is ongoing (items are added throughout the year). Thank you for supporting our students.

If voters approve all six bond propositions (totaling $1.23B) and the VATRE, the total tax rate will be 10.6 cents lower than last year’s tax rate, a double-digit decrease in the total rate.
